piggy produced orange poop (tic tac)
it is now my turn to do somehing productive :)

WARNING: IMAGE HEAVY! & HQ PICTURES

MONSTER BENTO
(i can finally title my bentos xD usually my bentos are so simple that i can't think of one)
→1/ pasta + gruyère, cordon bleu ( turkey meat pané) + slices of emmental (cheese) + wiener, nori for decoration
→2/ apple, corn salad, cut nectarine and smarties
→ I'm quite satisfied with this bento. The idea of the monster's face was so random! I did it in a rush.
Unfortunatelly the nectarines didn't remained 'intact', it was quite limp and too juicy. And the smarties even melt because of the heat of the bottom tier (i should have cool it properly before packing u__u)
at last, the apple-corn salad is one of my invention. I just blend everything i had xD

PICKS BENTO
→ gratin of pasta (with tomato sauce), half of hard-broiled egg, nuggets and cucumber
→ mini-skewers/picks (toothpicks): wieners, cucumber and pieces of emmental (cheese)
→ I think I've been using a lot of pasta and wiener in my bentos. I can't help, it is the most avalaible food in my refrigirator xD
Anyway, I don't know if the picks are creative. I just didn't want to waste the leaftovers .____.
little anecdote: the mini salt recipient was bought by my father ♥ but i didn't use it since the food was salty enough.

TOFU, PEAS, KETCHUP AND MAYONNAISE BENTO
→ soba noodles, black sesame seeds tofu, french beans with ketchup sauce
→ omelette, black-eyes peas, mayonnaise
→ *insert the name* chinese dessert
→ Cook all this on the morning in less than 30 minutes (+5 minutes of packing). I only thought of soba and black sesame seed tofu at the beginning. Then took the leftovers: french beans, chinese dessert and black eyes peas. Made a omelette with the last one. It is very weird, I know. To emphasis the weirdness, I use mayonnaise (for the omelette) and ketchup (for frech beans). That is the result when I'm in a hurry u__u

CARROT SNAKE BENTO
→ "noodles" made with rice flour, leaves of lettuce, carrots, emmental
→ carrots, omelette of cube bacon
→ the characters are kind of ...evil =O? i didn't mean it! It was especially made for the "spring comeback". Came up with the idea of the snake by coincidence, as well as the other characters. Oh and I have a little trick when using the cheese: you guys can use a round-shaped material, such as the fish sauce container, as shaper for the eyes or anything else you want. An alternative to the nori :) (since i'm fed up of cutting ugly eyes/face)
The "noodles" are a speciality my mother makes from times to times. It requires a special material (*insert the name* i'm such a noob), but it is very easy (without counting of the stickiness the flour)
and yup, the top tier was quite oily u__u

MISTER BOOKWORM BENTO
→ plain rice, vegatables sauté (+spoon) + doraemon!
→ clementine, book-emmental, mister bookworm: bites of chocolate, pink smarties, nori-mustache + paper cup
→ the main plate is quite empty, whereas the dessert(s) is colorful. The Monsieur (or Mister) Bookworm is funny, I especially keep the chocolate as eye but sadly i choose a non-identical pair u__u.
by the way, I don't know what happened but the third picture came out badly =O
ps: in the case, you don't understand why "he" is a bookworm, squared-shape cheese = book (look at the close-up)

STARICE BENTO
→ bottom tier (sorry i didn't took a overall picture): star-shaped rice + furikake on (tamago, nori...), chinese spinach, pieces of fried meat, "mini-bread"
→ top tier: zucchini and tomatoes pie
→ Yeah! I got new materials :D! The rice shapers (heart and star) and furikake. It's been so long I didn't go shopping by myself. The shapes of the rice aren't perfect because the rice isn't sticky enough (chinese rice). And Starice = Star + rice. (ok suck)
And did some "mini-bread" (black sesame seed, white sesame seed, and gruyère) with the leftover of the short crust pastry i use for the pie :)
by the way, the pie picture doesn't look like Pacman, or is it my geek spirit manifesting x)?

UGLY FISH IN THE SEA OF NOODLES
→ chinese noodles, beans mixed with egg yolk, grilled peanuts, few slices of lettuce, pork meat + fish = boiled egg + furikake + nori for decoration
→ pieces of grape
→ can you see the relation of the pictures and the bento's title? lol I totally improvised this bento! The whole thing popped out of my mind, was cooked and was packed in less than 20 minutes! Actually I think the fish or baby eel isn't that ugly xD I've prepared the eye made of nori for another occasion but well~
don't you think that the grape with the meat + spoon picture look like a butterfly, or it is me who sees things in my food xD?

Have been doing a lot more "art food" (well it is for me xD) this month.
But I think the bentos aren't as healthy as the previous ones. I'll try to take this into consideration.
Thank you for visiting/commenting ♥!
See you next month ;D!

PS: *big sigh* my mood theme doesn't work ;___;
