Kagome was walking by when she saw a man checking himself. Realizing that he was wet and that usually meant one thing and the confused look made it more apparently. She started walking closer when she saw him pull out something.

Backing up slightly, she continued to watch him. When he ducked behind a tree, she realized that he must be new and scared. He definitely didn't look like regular. Walking up slightly behind him, she smiled hesitantly.

"Uhh hello...whatcha doing there there?

He could hear her approaching, and just pressed himself back against the tree more. Worst came to worst he could just climb the tree, bounce off another and be gone before she came and saw him. but she may know where he was, and why he was here. This could be another chance for acceptance, and he really didn't want to blow it. Plus he was wet and confused and without his friend.

Okay, breathe Drizzt. He turned around to greet her properly, keeping a good distance for now. "Hello. My name is Drizzt Do'Urden, I'm--" He stared, uh. "Are you a local here?"

He really was shy, she figured when he he turned, she smiled but blinked at his question.

My name is Kagome. No not even close. I am came here over a little of a month ago. My name is Kagome and uhh welcome to Vatheon I guess.

He stared a moment. She wasn't running, she wasn't scared. Maybe he had found a good opening and he should really take advantage of it. He just needed to tread carefully.

"You do not live here? Were you take from your home?"

She not scared at all. She was completely relaxed as she talked to him.

"Well I live here now but no I was not born here or anything. There are natives here and they are very nice. I guess you can say that...I'm not really sure how. I woke up here just like you did."

"I see." someone or something must be taking these people here, but what? How did they managed to drag him down here so easily?

"Then I can...stay here?" they...wanted him here? What is this?

"Yes for some reason, someone keeps taking people and bringing them to this underwater city. There must be purpose for it. I have heard that with out us, the barrier can't stand. "

She fell quiet. "Of course you can. All of us can stay here"

"The barrier?" He looked up, peering around at the ominous glass dome shielding them from the ocean.

A small smile crossed his lips, "I suppose I should thank whoever brought me here then." too good to be true. serious.

Yes there's a barrier that surrounds us so it keeps the water out and us in."

The smile caused him to stare at her somewhat, suddenly wary. "Why?" She wanted to say more but hoping that she could get him to open up to her.

He just nodded, taking note of that information and storing it away for later.

Maybe he shouldn't have smiled? Oops? "It is better than sleeping in the snow."

She looked at him warily and smiled somewhat. "I'm sure it does. If you do knock that barrier, we will all die you know? Drowning is not really the way I want to go out.
