[ Peeks out from behind the tree, violet eyes following the others movements as he walks. A human, no doubt. He could only assume he was a local with how he was just casually strolling around.
Drizzt had a choice, one he debated many many times. Dare to approach the man and risk being shunned from this city forever. Like everywhere else. Or try for some kind of connection and hopefully acceptance.
Stupid as it MAY Have been, he needed answers. So he stepped from behind the tree carefully, making sure he was in the other's line of sight, and he would have put his hood up to try and hide his face, but it was kind of wet and heavy and obnoxious.
He opened his mouth-- Damn, he really needed a speech for times like this. ]
The guy wasn't running or screaming or anything. He didn't even look like phased by the drow standing in front of him. Maybe he was blind. YES CLEARLY. ]
[After Saya died, he couldn't bring himself to sit around. He went out for a walk so he could calm his inner self. Before he had a chance to do so he sensed another presence.]
Hey, you over there. How long do you plan on hiding in the shadows?
[ He tensed. There was long pause before he finally relented. No point in hiding really, and he needed to ask SOMEONE where the hell he was and if they knew how he got here.
So he stepped out quietly, holding his ground for the time. ]
You found me easily. [ he noted this more to himself than the other man. He was smiling though, so maybe he was impressed or something. ]
My name is Drizzt Do'Urden, I was...hoping to find someone to tell me where I am. [ please don't freak out. please don't freak out. ]
Yeah, so? Is that all you need? Tch, at least you asked. You're in Vatheon, and guess what? You're stuck here. You'd better find some way to deal with it.
My name's Ragna, by the way. It's a pleasure to be acquainted with you Drizzt.
[He grins, he hasn't had a normal conversation in a while. At least this should take his mind off things for now.]
[ You can choose to ignore this rather large, vicious looking black dog that's walking around the park. If you choose not to, you'll notice that it has six red eyes. It sees you. Oh it sees you alright, but it's not going to do anything until you do something. So have a staring contest 8| ]
[ Who the hell wouldn't notice a dog with six eyes? Hands on his blades for good measure, and suddenly he wishes Guen was here with him. He'll stare right back and slooooowly approach with a cautious hand out. ]
[ Stops a few feet in front of the beast, his hand still extended, dark fingers curling and uncurling. He was debating. He didn't sense anything really...bad about the thing, and it didn't bite his hand off yet. He had seen much weirder, more evil things around the underdark. ]
Kagome was walking by when she saw a man checking himself. Realizing that he was wet and that usually meant one thing and the confused look made it more apparently. She started walking closer when she saw him pull out something.
Backing up slightly, she continued to watch him. When he ducked behind a tree, she realized that he must be new and scared. He definitely didn't look like regular. Walking up slightly behind him, she smiled hesitantly.
He could hear her approaching, and just pressed himself back against the tree more. Worst came to worst he could just climb the tree, bounce off another and be gone before she came and saw him. but she may know where he was, and why he was here. This could be another chance for acceptance, and he really didn't want to blow it. Plus he was wet and confused and without his friend.
Okay, breathe Drizzt. He turned around to greet her properly, keeping a good distance for now. "Hello. My name is Drizzt Do'Urden, I'm--" He stared, uh. "Are you a local here?"
He stared a moment. She wasn't running, she wasn't scared. Maybe he had found a good opening and he should really take advantage of it. He just needed to tread carefully.
"You do not live here? Were you take from your home?"
[Since Murasa hasn't noticed you yet, you sneaky drow you, she's just going to sit and stretch against the trunk of one of your trees....setting down the huuuuge anchor that had been slung over her shoulder as well.]
Haven't seen any zombies lately- guess that dry spell took care of every one of 'em. 'Bout time we caught a break from those things!
[ Oh dear lord what is THAT? Well, since she's right there, he might as well just come out, right? RIGHT?
He's hesitant when he moves around to the other side, stepping back a few feet from the girl. His speech really needs some work, but he'll just introduce himself. ]
Hello-- My name is Drizzt Do'Urden. Do you...live here, miss? [ Don't hit him with that anchor thanks. ]
[Lucky for you that she's pretty easy come easy go little high little low and just smiles nonchalantly, as opposed to jumping up and screaming and running away. Her expression does darken slightly at that question, though.]
Me? Nah, I'm just another shanghaied body, like most people here. Nice to meet you though, Drizzt. I'm Captain Murasa- are you new?

It is so strange to not be followed by regrets or chased by zombie mermaids.
...what is his life? He sighs at the thought, shaking his head.]
