[Rue notices the bandages first. She remembers this boy, though only vaguely. She remembers him running from her, she remembers continually approaching him--
Again and again, but for what?
Did...did she hurt him? Did she do that to him?
She sees the shine of the ring, but...it does not entice her the way it did before. She keeps her distance at first, wondering if she should turn away now before he notices her...]
[[It takes a moment before Bakura looks up and notices her, his non-bandages hand moving almost on reflex to cover the Ring. If his chest were healed enough, he would have quickly tucked it under his shirt, just to get it out of sight, just in case!
But she looked... different somehow. The way she held herself, the way she was hesitating. The Ring's voice had been acting strange up there, maybe she had been under the same spell...?
Still, he says nothing. He can't afford to be too friendly with anyone, not with the Ring's voice still lurking somewhere. As much as he wants to...
His right hand tenses slightly and he looks down, expression utterly betraying his inner turmoil that bordered utter depression. He couldn't do it. He had to stay apart from everyone, he couldn't put anyone else in danger!
He's seen her, she knows he has...and though that would normally make her run even faster, she draws closer to him. Slowly but surely, as if she's trying to talk herself out of it--but evidently a large part of her wanted to make some ammends. Or explain things.
It wouldn't be right of her to leave things like that, would it...? She speaks softly, as if she's afraid her voice will injure him further.]
[[It sounded like a trick question, even though he was sure it wasn't. There was no way she could know what he was thinking, after all.
He shook his head slightly]]
Not really.
[[It wasn't a total lie. As long as he was careful with his hand, it was fine! If he forgot and tried to use it, however...]]
It's already been taken care of, it's fine, really. [[puts on a bit of a smile, trying to assure. Last thing he wanted was someone worrying over him.]]
[[It'd be safe to at least ask that, right? It wasn't as if he had to push someone away that quickly. As long as it was just small talk, it would be all right, right?]]

[[a small nod]]
So not a full possession then, huh? Aaaa, I almost think that's better! [[half sighs, leaning back against the bench]] At least then you know something's happened...
Hahah, it's all good!krueheNovember 14 2011, 16:01:42 UTC
A...a possession?
[That must have been how it seemed. Maybe that's why Ahiru insisted on calling her Rue, no matter what. Rue, Rue, Rue...never Kraehe. No matter how much she insisted it...]
Yes, I...I suppose that makes sense.
[She dares to take a seat next to him on the bench then...because she owes him some kind of apology, doesn't she...?]
[[he shifts over slightly to give her more room, posture both closed off, yet a bit relaxed. He wouldn't let her too close. Just chatting. That would be fine, right? It was only those he tried to get close to that were targeted, so this would be fine... right?]]
[[nods slightly]] Glad everyone's back to normal again. That sort of thing... [[he trailed off slightly, noticing a bit of bandage that had come lose and paused to tuck it gently back in. He was getting better at wrapping it, but it was still a bit tricky with one hand.]]
[She nods. She is glad too, and she is grateful for the personal space when he shifts over some. Her mind seems clearer now than ever before, despite the confusion over what happened. All thanks to her prince.
All thanks to the truth...]

That smile and answer make her feel better. If only slightly...though she's still not sure what to think about all this in the first place.]
I'm glad...
[Does he even remember her?
She can't even be sure. Surely he wouldn't be smiling at her, if he could...]

[Well, she supposes so. She's not really sure at the moment, but she's glad he hasn't pushed her away.]
...I think so. Although I am still trying to remember...

No, I...
I remember...you. I remember--
[What she did. Making him run, and taunting him. That's not her. That's--
Princess Kraehe.]

[She repeats, glancing at him. He does look very much like her prince. Her Mytho. Her Siegfried.]
My name is...Rue.
