Shing awoke with a start, coughing up some water as he dragged himself up and glanced around him. Feeling his hand brush up on a piece of coral, he paused, taking a much closer look at his surroundings. He was... underwater? But how... was it some sort of trick? It all felt too real, though... pinching himself, it took a while for him to accept that he was, in fact, underwater. It was all too strange to him -- as much as he wanted to ask how that was possible, he was more concerned about if he was anywhere close to home. Or anywhere in Celirand, for that matter.
"Where am I...? This isn't our world..." That much was obvious. He was pretty sure he hadn't left his house at any point during the night either, voluntarily or not -- he didn't see any scruff marks on his boots, nor did he feel particularly sore anywhere. So how...? He suddenly had a sinking feeling he was alone, too... walking around the tree, he sighed as he stumbled over the tree roots in an attempt to try and find anyone or anything familiar.
It was official, he had no idea where he was.
Glancing up into the top of the giant bubble, he had to admit that the play of light from above sea level into the dome itself was rather pretty... still, he had to admit to himself that now was not a good time to be daydreaming. Sneezing from the cold -- oh, that was no good -- he paused for a moment. Closing his eyes, he frowned as he tried to Soma Link with the others... and he blinked in surprise. He could feel Kohaku's presence quite clearly above the others, which raised more questions than answered them -- did that mean she was here in this strange place, too? And did that mean that the others could end up here, too?
Shaking his head -- and tossing around some of the water still in his hair -- he sighed, finally standing up and taking the weird device that he'd spotted next to him. Maybe someone left that here, too? At least he was in the middle of what appeared to be a town. It would make it easier to find out where he was, at least.
"Hello? Is anyone here?"
