"Kurama?!" he seemed surprised to hear the familiar voice. It had been a few months since he had spoken to the red head and now he was back again and it was almost as if it was the right timing, "I ain't hearing things right?" he mused. He was calm but still he was surprised and it did show in the tone he was speaking though. He quickly turned around and ran towards the direction he had sensed the familiar energy but it could disappear any minute seeing Kurama was pretty damn good at hiding his energy just like Hiei.

Kurama was perhaps even more surprised. He had been preparing himself to expect the unexpected, things he might never have encountered before, and though the possibility of some particularly elaborate scheme taking place crossed his mind, he doubted that was the case. So, the sound of someone familiar was in many ways even more jarring than some obvious threat would have been.
"You are not hearing things. I am here, wherever that would be." He took a moment to reassure the other boy before moving on, reiterating his most pressing concern. "...Where exactly is here, anyhow?"

Kurama could catch a glimpse of Kuwabara's orange coloured hair as he ran towards the other, "This place is called Vatheon. Some funky underwater city that lives off of our energies or something. If you're feeling a little weak or damp it's that damn coral draining your powers. We ain't as strong as we used to be here so ya gotta be careful!" with that he shutted the communication device as he was already within speaking distance.
"Jeez, of all the crazy shit ta happen. I'm glad you're not hurt or anything."
Reply
"I am simply glad to see you. Though I wonder if I should be."
He doesn't mean the wry remark to be rude, of course, but he has to question how fortunate it is to be pulled into the place Kuwabara just described. It does not sound like it would be the safest of places, and though he has dealt with things that could almost definitely be called more unusual, that is hardly enough to make him like the current situation anymore.
"Did you arrive here recently, as well? I would be... most interested in knowing who brought us here."

"Well it's kinda like both. We're stuck in an underwater city that could probably kill us any second. There's some crazy monster thing outside the bubble that attacked us before. The good thing is that the people here aren't too bad," he replied shrugging a bit. He didn't think it was that bad. It was bad that he was stuck here but it was also a good plus since Yusuke and Kuwabara haven't seen their red haired friend for a long while.
No it was. The place was far from safe. As it seemed like it was safe. It was a lot more dangerous and deadly than they thought. Kuwabara had some experience but not a good experience like those who had been here long.
"A few months ago. That ain't a long time but it's been a while. I ain't sure about that. Urameshi's got more under his belt. He's been here longer and you and half pint were here for a short while. I ain't sure if they wiped yer memory or you're taken from some weird period in time," he replied trying to explain. He wasn't the most intelligent boy but going to a good high school gave him enough time to think and analyze a little.

"I do not remember having come here before, no. My own last recollection is of sleeping. I intended to wake up early for work the next day." He laughed shortly. "There is something pleasant to be said for apparent monotony. But it seems as though I won't have that for a while..."
It could have been a worse situation, particularly since he was far from without help, or more precisely, information. He would have a much simpler time of things if he was able to learn as much as possible, without taking too much time to do it.
"Just how frequently do such attack occur, Kuwabara?"

"Aside that what's the last thing ya remember aside sleepin' like what day was it and what were ya doing?" he mused since it was a good question because Kuwabara learned that not all his friends came with the same memories he had. Yusuke was far behind in the timeline and Botan didn't tell him yet. Kuwabara wondered what time period Kurama had been taken from. He had been the furthest along the timeline compared to Yusuke and uncertain for Botan. He hoped maybe if it was possible that Kurama shared the same memories of the same time instead of one further away. Though,he did say work so there might be an ounce of hope...maybe.
It would be nice to not be the only one that knows everything for once. It was strange since he's usually the one that was always misinformed.
"Actually that's the first time I've been assaulted by that thing but I bet there might be more assaults before. I jus' woke up from some long ass nap. Dunno why I was sleepin' for so long so I can't tell ya much on that. If we find Urameshi he might know more about it since the guy's been aroun' for a while," the teen replied honestly. He was still trying to get rid of the grogginess.
