Kuwabara was running around the minute Yusuke's energy had dispersed from the bubble. He didn't exactly get why or how but it disappeared and it frantically made the boy concerned. He wasn't screaming around like an idiot like he did a few months ago but he was still worried. When his friends' energies suddenly disappear as if they were no longer made him antsy. Of course, when he heard a voice running on the voice function on his communicator, he both sensed and then heard the other. He'll quickly pull out his starfish device and speaking into it ( ... )

"Kuwabara?"

Kurama was perhaps even more surprised. He had been preparing himself to expect the unexpected, things he might never have encountered before, and though the possibility of some particularly elaborate scheme taking place crossed his mind, he doubted that was the case. So, the sound of someone familiar was in many ways even more jarring than some obvious threat would have been.

"You are not hearing things. I am here, wherever that would be." He took a moment to reassure the other boy before moving on, reiterating his most pressing concern. "...Where exactly is here, anyhow?"

Kuwabara continues to run towards the fox not even second thinking this. It might be a trap or it might be the underwater place playing games on his mind but either way he didn't seem to care. He probably could use the help if Kurama really was here. That and he was glad to see his friend was well and safe. That was all that mattered right now. He continued to move along the path rounding another corner before spotting the head of red hair. He's running towards him.

Kurama could catch a glimpse of Kuwabara's orange coloured hair as he ran towards the other, "This place is called Vatheon. Some funky underwater city that lives off of our energies or something. If you're feeling a little weak or damp it's that damn coral draining your powers. We ain't as strong as we used to be here so ya gotta be careful!" with that he shutted the communication device as he was already within speaking distance.

"Jeez, of all the crazy shit ta happen. I'm glad you're not hurt or anything."

He, too, shuts off his communicator as Kuwabara's voice reaches him nearby, turning to face his friend. He simply tucks the device into his pocket, as he is inclined to doubt that water will do much to hurt it.

"I am simply glad to see you. Though I wonder if I should be."

He doesn't mean the wry remark to be rude, of course, but he has to question how fortunate it is to be pulled into the place Kuwabara just described. It does not sound like it would be the safest of places, and though he has dealt with things that could almost definitely be called more unusual, that is hardly enough to make him like the current situation anymore.

"Did you arrive here recently, as well? I would be... most interested in knowing who brought us here."

[One blinding burst of light later, and he's in the company of the resident undead superteen. At least he's a helpful one, right? If a little slow to realize he should probably not wear his mask around all the time.]

You're in a place called Vatheon. It is probably not your world anymore.

[So far no one had claimed they were from here originally, at least no one easily distinguishable from the townspeople. Which led Simon to believe that new arrivals were from other worlds entirely, himself included...he just didn't want to say so without absolute certainty.]

Would you like a towel?

...I have been to several worlds.

[Though, as he had finally settled on one, it will be unfortunate to find that he has been pulled away now. He sighs, treating the teen to a careful inspection. Nothing to warrant immediate trust, but then, nothing that could gain his immediate trust exists. He continues mildly.]

I would like a towel, yes. More than that... If you know so much about this world, what brought me here?

[Because as much as he detests the idea, he can't deny that he must have been brought somehow.]

"Vatheon, an annoying bubble under the sea." Silver crossed his arms, not shifting from where was sitting at a table. Drink in hand and feet up on it, it looked like he'd been there a while; He had, people watching out of boredom. He did eye other man, smirking a bit. Damn but this newcomer had even longer red hair than he did. "How often do you get mistaken for a female?"

Silver did not give a damn that he was antagonising someone who could kick his arse many times over.

He managed soft smirk at that, and Silver's remark only strengthened his wit, or at least his willingness to strike out with it. He pointed out with deliberate dryness, "It must be stronger than a bubble, or I do not think either of us would be standing."

As for the actual question, he was simply choosing to ignore that. It was hardly worth his time to answer, after all.

"Hmph. It's a bubble that the damned coral takes some our energy to maintain." Silver sounded like it was normal, but there was still resentment in his voice, mostly in his eyes though.

A pause, then this time a bigger smirk. Let's see if he can push your buttons, Kurama. "I'll just assume a yes to my question then. Not that I can blame them."

And then a nonchalant sip of his drink.

There wouldn't be any luck there. If it would become an issue, then Kurama would simply cut it off now. His smirk faded into a patient smile.

"Not really. The length of my hair has led to some confusion, but it is not a common occurrence."

He allowed a pause, intending to seal the matter with it before inquiring casually, "So, energy is taken from us to keep this city from being overtaken by the ocean?

Ah, newcomers. It really did seem to happen rather routinely, didn't it? Rory spotted this one as he was walking through the plaza, a few shopping bags in his arms. For all he knew someone had already given this one the run down, but he figured it wouldn't hurt to offer a little more assistance. With a breath he approached, freeing up one of his hands to offer a bit of a wave to Kurama.

"...hello, have you figured out where you are yet or did you still need a little help?"

He returned the greeting with a calm nod. If nothing else, the people here seem to be nice enough, which he will appreciate for its own sake. Though he is still quite thoroughly soaked, he acts as if this is nothing more unusual than a chance meeting on the street that is not in the strange undersea city he has found himself trapped in.

"I've figured out where I am, thank you." Though, with a short laugh, he adds, "As much as it is possible to determine that, anyhow."

"Yeah, it's a bit much to take in at first." He replied, letting out a soft chuckle and then shaking his head after a moment. "Well, I can't say that it doesn't continue to be a bit much but..."

He paused awkwardly, digging into one of the bags after a moment and proffering a towel for the other.

"You look like you need one."

"Thank you." He accepted the towel gratefully and immediately began to run it over his hair. Not for any particular desire to maintain it, simply because it was the most persistently bothersome of his current concerns, when it came to current concerns that he could do something about, at least.

He had to admit, he was still very much at a loss on how to deal with the broader matter of being trapped in an utterly foreign world.

"It is... quite something, yes. At least whatever dangers are here haven't struck yet."

He had no doubt that they would, but he appreciated having some time to settle here.

She's actually out and about, still trying to do what she can to find leads on the whereabouts of the missing people. She'd promised Motochika she'd do what she could to find Mitsuhide and Gracia. The fact that so many people had disappeared all at once was troubling, and, frankly, any little bit of information at this point would be a relief ( ... )

"I have only recently arrived, yes."

He smiled back, not seeming to require much in the way of reassurance.

"I suppose everyone has been new, at some point, but what could help me with..."

He folded his arms over his chest, not in a threatening way, but as part of a more casual stance as he gave her a thoughtful inspection before he proceeded with his question. "How many people have been brought here, if you had to make a guess?"

It was never too early to begin gathering information, after all.

Kohaku fell quiet at that, blinking a few times in confusion. Well. That was ... certainly not the question she thought she would be asked. She actually had to stop and think.

"Um ... well, there are a lot of people here. Not sure just how many ... I arrived here myself not too long ago."

"I see. That's quite alright... I will be able to find out soon enough."

He hoped so, at any rate. If he was to be frank, he had no idea what complications he would face here. He would have to be quite thorough about whatever he attempted, as well.
