If you're trying to get away from James and Lily, then you're not in luck, today, Padfoot. Lily's out for a walk in the park as well, the snow making her think of Hogsmeade and making her miss home quite a bit
( ... )
Sirius' head poked out of the most recent snow drift he'd jumped into and looked over to Lily. With a smile he clambered out of it and trotted over, his spirits much higher than they had been when he arrived. When he was almost there, he changed back, his hair wet from snow much like his fur had been.
"Lils! Hey there. Come to romp in the snow as well? It's cold, but it feels good."
He smirks. "Sounds wonderful, I think I like walks that don't have a purpose the most. Makes it more interesting."
Whatever it was that had been bothering her and James, he hoped it was solved. She seemed happier, at least. The curious part of him really wanted to ask what had been going on, but, he also didn't want to bring anything up that might start the mood all over again.
She walked close to him, enough so that he might notice that it was a bit strange. But she didn't care. No, nothing had been solved. Nothing could be solved. Best to make the most of the time they had. Lily's eyes were a bit teary, and she blinking away the tears. If he asked, she just might tell him, but no. Nothing good would come from that.
She sighed.
"I've been going on a lot of walks like this lately."

"I came to walk in the snow, but a romp does sound like much more fun."
She threaded her arm through his and started walking with him through the snow.
I quite enjoyed just watching you play."

"It's just a nice way to get out a bit. Be a bit more active, you know?"
He kept the comment about being happy for Lily being happy to himself. It was a nice thing to see her smile again.
"So, where are we walking?"
Reply
"Yes, I've been spending a lot of time out in the snow. I love it out here. Everything looks new. It feels like starting over."
She hugged his arm, resting her head on his shoulder for just a moment. It had really been stupid to avoid him, knowing how little time they had left.
"I haven't the faintest. I thought we might wander off into the woods or something."

"I don't want to tell you."
She pulls him into a hug.
"But I don't want to keep things from you either."

"Lils....what's wrong? You can tell me."

"I know what happens to us. What happens to all of us. Ron told us. James and me."
She tightens her arms around him.

He knew there was something off about Ron, but that was pretty much it as far as the boy went.
