[Cynthia is returning from her regular training, and is surprised to see a newcomer simply sitting calmly. But rather than rudely stare or ignore him, she wanders over.]

I suppose I should welcome you? If no one else has, I suppose.

[He sets down his cup of tea and smiles at the woman.]

Oh why thank you. For a city that's prone to kidnapping people, it's inhabitants are proving rather friendly.

To be fair, I'm also just a "visitor". My name is Cynthia. Circumstances aside, it's nice to meet you.

Have you been properly introduced to this place yet?

Well if a visitor can't leave, they become an inhabitant, don't they?

Oh, just to bits and pieces. The locals have been kind enough to explain most of the basics to me. [On the threat of several thousand volts of lightning.] Have you been here long yourself?

That's true, but given that we can leave just as suddenly as we arrive, without rhyme or reason, I'm a little hesitant to call myself a resident.

A nice long vacation then. Are there any any good sights I should see while I'm here?

Well, there's a market, a carnival, and a forest? Not much in terms of sightseeing, I suppose, unless those are along your tastes.

A forest underwater? Delightful. [He sounds completely deadpan.] Is there a library, perchance?

There is! Though I haven't yet gone to investigate, since I'm still organizing the research from my world that came with me.

[colnecromancer]

Where might I find it? [Preparing to lock himself in and read every and all books on dimensional travel.]

Oh? What kind of research do you do?

[secretpotion]

I research the creatures native to my own world, called pokemon. I also study ancient human civilizations to understand how their journey with pokemon began.

[There's a little glint in her eye; she savors every chance she can get to talk about pokemon, whoops.]

[There's enthusiasm in her voice, which certainly helps when trying to find information.]

I don't suppose Vatheon ever came up in your research? And what manner of creatures are Pokemon?

[secretpotion]

[Luckily, Cynthia is not one to keep secrets. At least, ones besides her age or hometown or other lady things. She's goofy like that.]

Hahah, no, it certainly hasn't. There were a few stories of underwater cities, but none were very detailed.

[Despite himself, Jade can't help but raise an eyebrow at the massive pink watersnake that had just appeared.]

Might I see where that ball you're holding? [A contraption with the ability to hold and summon beasts at any given time...And all the while he keeps one eye locked on the Milotic.]
