Kagome wasn't surprised when Sesshomaru didn't harm Kagome, the last time that they talked. She was however shocked when he suddenly appeared in front of her. She looked at him warily. Although trusting, she was not a fool. There was no way she would just walk up to him, especially when he had never talked to her like that.

"My name is Kagome...Ka-go-me." She said it as a way to try to distract him. What did he want?

"He has given you too much freedom." Sesshomaru strode towards her, his eyes flashing coldly, "I will rectify that." he wrapped his arm around her waist and lifted her over his shoulder.

Turning on his heel, he leaped into the sky, his silver hair trailing behind him like a banner.

She bristled at his statement but before she could retort, he was moving towards her. Something in her told her to run but she refused to do so. "I'm not afraid of you!" She couldn't help but say again. She gasped as his arm wrapped around her and suddenly she could feel his shoulder plate digging into her stomach.

"Sesshomaru, put me down! What are you doing? What do you want!" She couldn't help but to squeal as suddenly he was leaping into the sky. She gripped his kimono for all that she was worth, hoping and praying that she wouldn't fall off his shoulder.

"That will be your downfall." Sesshomaru launched them into the air, holding onto Kagome easily, "Silence." he didn't even glance at her when she started to scream, "If he is as remarkable as you say, he will be along in a moment."

A cold smile touched his lips at the thought of Inuyasha's panic. What would he think? How hard would his heart pound when he realized that this thing was missing?

Sesshomaru focused on Inuyasha's scent as he flew through the air. Finally, he landed and set Kagome down unceremoniously.

"Don't flee." he warned her, turning into the wind. Oh yes. He would be on his way shortly.

Kagome had no idea how to deal with this. She knew that he had to be using her for something, but she had no idea what. He wouldn't just pick her up and fly with her to another location.

She landed rather rough and an ow escaped her. She glared at and stood up. Moving so she was in front of him, she put her hands on her hips. Disapprovial, annoyance, and irritation flittered across her face and fear was absent.

"I wouldn't dream of it. As I told you before," she moved so she was standing closer, "I'm not afraid of you. What are you doing, Sesshomaru. What do you think this will accomplish?"

This was just perfect. He left her alone for ten minutes and now look what happens
