This was just perfect. He left her alone for ten minutes and now look what happens.

Having discovered Kagome missing from their apartment, his obvious response was to scratch his head in irritation and go looking for her. His walk had been casual and slow at first as he took his time tracking Kagome's scent. However, the growing smell of human blood filling the city caused Inuyasha to pick up his pace.

It was the beginning of the week, and the city seemed to have thrown yet another hazard at him.

The smell of blood wasn't what made him truly panic, however, as he couldn't sense Kagome's mixed in with it. The worst part was, after reaching the outskirts of the city, Kagome's scent became mixed in with Sesshoumaru's.

"Damn it all..." He took to the skies, hopping around on the trees and rooftops in the area to go faster. It didn't take him long to see Kagome sitting on the ground in an isolated area, Sesshoumaru standing over her.

With a feral growl, Inuyasha pulled out the Tetsusaiga and leapt higher in air, falling down on where Sesshoumaru was standing.

"SESSHOUMARU!!"
