It had seemed like a normal day at the least. The doctor had left the clinic for the time being, considering it as good a time as any to take a break. Demand for medicine was slightly low that day and certainly he wouldn't be missed for a few minutes. Sitting there in practice amongst whitewashed walls did little for what fleeting sanity he had after all.
As per his usual, he wandered the city and decided to venture into the forest. He considered the place near and dear to his heart, one of the places where he'd settle if he needed a little silence. Of course, he wasn't expecting company that day.
Enter one curious little epidexipteryx. It peers at the doctor, tilting its tiny head this way and that. The thing seemed to have left the company of the others like it and chosen to cling itself to the doctor. Wanting to have nothing to do with this, Muraki merely leaves it be, hoping it'd go back into the wild and do what epidexipteryxes do... whatever that is.
Unfortunately, it seems to be following him, much to his chagrin.
