There is only so much pacing, research and staying inside Green can take. He's an outdoor person and the walks have not been enough lately, really. They're a single drop upon a hot stone.
And that's why Green Oak, Gym Leader of Viridian City, Grandchild of Professor Oak and the cockiest Gym Leader of all time, finds himself in the kitchen. It's not exactly outdoors. And neither is cooking challenging but it is something and he's not inside his room, trying to figure Vatheon out. He's close to putting his research on pause either way. Too little information and too many secrets at the same time don't exactly make it easy to find the exit. Aside from the bubble and honestly, Green doesn't want to know what could happen if the bubble burst.
So to keep himself distracted, he's chopping away at some vegetables, keeping an eye on the stove where the rice is already bubbling away.
Satisfied, Green reaches for a red pepper bell-
Only to find it not within his reach. With a frown, he starts to look around, poking his head into the fridge.
