The purple eyed shinigami was found a few stools over. He's been enjoying a few glasses of sake himself, looking like a kicked puppy. His starfish phone was on the bar's surface with his left hand touching it's closest leg. Any one wish to bother Tsuzuki in the middle of his self wallowing?
Selphie took a seat up beside him, requesting her own little glass of sake. She stared at it for a moment before lifting it and downing the lot in one go. She made a soft coughing before shuddering on the stool next to him.
It was the couching that pulled him from being lost in his thought. He ran his fingers through his hair, attention on her. "You handled it better than my partner did, his first drink." He was grinning, but any sort of "happy" feelings behind the grin didn't reach his eyes.
Selphie turned to him and gave a swift wink, "Oh, I've had plenty of sake before!" She giggled at the thought and shook her head, before receiving yet another glass.
This time she just looked at it, though she was speaking to him, "I like how it makes my tummy feel warm."
Tucked away at the far end of the bar, the Canadian sat in silence, alone with a half-empty glass of whiskey. He pretty much stayed to himself, but company was always welcome, so was conversation.
[And here's one familiar face sitting at the edge of the counter, taking a sip of his wine once in a while. He's musing to himself more than anyone else, really.]
I bet this business will be just skyrocketing, now that people are gone...well, alcohol is always the best solution, I thinl.
C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER. Hey. Hey Luka. pssst--dualpinkpistolsFebruary 26 2011, 23:31:00 UTC
[ Pffff, drinking? No way! That's not her thing. Instead, she's heard about another Journalist here, and after asking the right questions and beating out the right answers, Maya found herself here.
Oooh, it was jazz, huh? Place sure was fancy. She'll wait. So, yes. This perky woman with pink eyes and long black hair, a pencil behind her ear, a notebook, with a heart top on is waiting at your counter. But not for a drink. ]
[ And he looks up after downing his glass of scotch. Heh. Newcomer at the bar. Normally, he probably would've said hi when she first came but he hasn't really been Mr Sociable lately.
Anyway, Cereza's decided to pad over and give Maya a sniff. Hope you like cats. This makes Luka look up at glance over at her direction. ]
[ And Cereza likes the attention, causing her to nuzzle ever so slightly against Maya's hand. Luka meanwhile is amused by all this, watching them both. ]
You must be one yourself if you've managed to find that much out. What can I do for you?

I hear you.
[ But he whips out a rather aged looking brandy bottle. ]
Here. This might suit you a little more, I'm thinking. Hell, she liked it. I figured you might, too.

I certainly would like that, yes.
[He takes it and looks over it, grinning before turning to Luka ince again.]
You're not going to be partaking in some yourself?

[ And with that, he pours two glasses. On the rocks. One of them has a slice of lemon in it. The one without, he slides over to Crowley. ]
Bottoms up.

Oh, I'm actually not here for that. I heard from someone that you're a journalist as well?
