010 ❀ the girl's counterattack

[ Nodoka was running as fast as her legs could carry her away from the middle district and towards the safe house - she knew the way and she was going there quickly, but there were still large numbers of pirates around. She could evade them somewhat, but it was times like this where she wished she had a pactio power as good as Yue-chan's or Asuna-san's - at least that way she could be useful in situations like this. She had tried to read the minds of the people around her and she hadn't been entirely successful; none had real names for her to use and they weren't like Sayo-san. They were a different kind of ghost. In her trek she did her best to look for people - just in case. If someone was left alone outside here... It would be bad. ]
I-Is there anyone here?
[ She was doing her best to evade their attacks - a twist here, a jump there - but it was tiring and she was never particularly adept at sports. Travelling with Negi-sensei had helped, of course, but her talent lay in research and the use of her Ejus, not in the sprinting that battle sometimes needed. It didn't help that she had four floating books around her, still trying to see if she could find out the names of some of the ghosts and work out why they were so mad, why they were fighting.
It really wasn't her fault that she didn't see the indent in the pavement that caused her to trip, falling flat on her face. She twisted to try and get up, completely used to the feeling of falling down - it was nothing new to her, at least. ]
Ah, a-at least... [ She pushes herself to her knees, looking over the split Diarium Ejus' that were still hovering around her. ] At least they weren't hurt...
