What're ya' hidin' for? You're not another lost kid, are you?

[Inuyasha jumps a foot into the air when Waka suddenly starts yelling at him. Eyes wide, he gulps and nods slowly.]

Yeah...I'm a demon.

[If they think he's a full demon and not a half-breed, all the more power to him. Whenever people figure out the truth, it usually means that they'll either ignore him or try to kill him.]

Really? [He pauses for a moment, taking in the information. A real live demon! ...he was trained to fight big bad demons though, this guy was too little.] ...cool! I've never seen one up-close before!

[So he...gets closer, huh wait something's not right--] Hey! You're only part demon! That's even weirder! What's your name? I'm Waka.

[His ears droop slightly as Waka calls him out on his status, and he can't help but hide more behind the corner of the building.]

...Inuyasha...

He's such a cute little kid!

She can't help but to stare at the small Inuyasha child. She had seen other people who she knew were older so she figured it was a curse. This now proved that her inkling was true. Staying slightly away from him, she knelt down and smiled at him.

"Hello"

A second later, Inuyasha poked half of his head out, blinking a large, golden eye at her. He watched her carefully, but didn't make a sound, nor did he reveal more of himself to her.

Kagome sees him and she remains where she is. She knows that his childhood wasn't a happy one and she wasn't surprised that the child seemed wary of her. Inuyasha once said that he didn't fit in with humans or demons so he found a place for himself. She looks him over and tries to think of a way to get him to come to her. He had protected her so many times and now she was going to protect him.

"What's your name?" She asked.

For a few moments, Inuyasha thinks about what to do next. Nodding to himself, he steps out from behind the building and folds his arms over his chest. Even though he's still so small, he scowls and tries to look tough. This girl is only a human, so it's not like she'd be able to hurt him physically.

"Inuyasha. What about you?"

[ ... Well. Sesshoumaru had scented his brother, of course, and had noted that he smelt... Well, younger, but he hadn't imagined that it would really have happened. He is quite curious, in his own way, to see what the boy was like as a young pup - and this is his chance. He stands in the distance, watching the boy. ]

[At the sight of him, Inuyasha can't help but poke his head out and get a better look at the man. Even from this distance, it's obvious to Inuyasha that he is a full demon. Still, there is something familiar about his scent...he smells like Inuyasha. He even kinda looks like him.

So have some large eyes blinking at you, bro. Isn't he cute? :3]

[ Sesshoumaru just keeps watching. If Inuyasha can work out that a) he's a full demon b) they're related and c) he wants nothing to do with him then... Then perhaps c) could change. Until then, the demon isn't going anywhere, nor does he intend to move closer. ]

[Swallowing, Inuyasha slowly starts making his way over to Sesshoumaru. He's still wary since the man is a full-blooded demon, but his curiosity gets the better of him. Perhaps this guy can tell him where he is.]

[Rena's been taking a walk around the town, amused by all of the children running about - it's almost like being back in school at Hinamizawa - when she spots the little boy, and walks over with a smile.]

Hi there.

[Stares at her, not wanting to come out just because she spotted him.]

[cleaver_bitch]

[She just stares back, but the smile doesn't waver.]

It's okay. I won't hurt you. Here...

[Sitting down in front of him, she opens up the bag of baked goods she'd gotten only a few minutes ago, and offers him a piece of melon pan.]

[He hesitates at first, but his rumbling stomach ultimately gets the better of him. Slowly he approaches her, continuously looking between her and the bread. When he's in front of her, Inuyasha sniffs the food, then takes it from her and starts nibbling on the edge.]

[There was a child looking around for his older sister. Hiding at every sound in case any angry people came after him again.]
Luka? [And his purple eyes settled on something white ducking out of sight.]

I sense an insta-friendship coming...
