"Oh~ What'cha making?" Xigbar leaned over her shoulder to eye the crafts project on her table, his hands set on his hips. He was feigning nothing but friendliness and interest, careful to portray himself as nothing but a kind old geezer. He wasn't sure if she'd fall for it, but hey, hadda try right? She was Sora's little princess of heart, after all; an interesting factor in the hero's mental strength.

Is he wearing his Org Coat?

"Hmm?" She paused in the middle of threading her needle, her concentration momentarily broken. She leaned back in her chair to see who had come up behind her. "It's a charm for-- Eyah!" Abruptly, the scar and eyepatch came into view, much closer than she'd expected, and she fell forward before she could catch herself.

Xigbar brought up his hands, cupping them around her elbows to keep her from either smashing into him or into the ground. Neither of those would give her a good impression of him, after all. "Oopsy daisy. Nothing broke?"

"Um--" She hesitated, blushing. "Sorry! Thank you." She caught her balance, settling all four legs of the chair back on the ground.

That was-- that was definitely a very familiar black coat. The face wasn't quite as familiar, but the coat was definitely the sign of a Bad Guy. Unless Vatheon happened to sell a very good imitation, anyway.

But-- he had caught her from falling over. That wasn't a Bad Guy thing to do, was it?

"I'm okay," She answers finally, unable to help a small frown. "Do I-- have we met before?"

Don't call the cavalery just yet

"I don't think so." He gave her a cheerful grin and a shrug. "I think I would've remember a face like yours. And, hey, I guess mine is pretty eye-catching too, huh?"

He took a bit of a step back, his posture relaxed. What reason was there to crowd her, after all. His goal was to gain her use-- ah, her trust. "So, whatcha making? It looks pretty special."

Maybe long black leather zippered coats are the fashion on Vatheon :|

"Oh," She replies with a blink, eyes wide. "Um, thank you. And-- Oh no! It's just, the coat." She pauses. "There were a few people who wore coats just like that. Part of an organization." It wasn't a question, but something was inferred there, anyway. Riku and Sora had mentioned that there were Organization members running around... Although this man didn't seem so bad.

She relaxed a little as he pulled away, his smile doing something to appease her unease. He had startled her rather well, and her heart was slowly returning to it's normal tempo. "I'm making charms," She answers quietly, seeming about to continue, when abruptly she seems to switch track. "They're not done," She finishes, a bit shyly.

It is becoming winter after all. And these are very warm.

"h, I'm sure of it. But hey, it's not the most unique of outfits." He glanced down on himself for a moment, with feigned humility. "Just a simple black coat. Can't exactly say I'm a trend setter."

"But enough about the coats. Those charms look pretty good. They remind me of something I saw a long time ago." Oh yes, he remembered the charms the previous heroes had. Three charms, three heroes. An unbreakable bond that was maybe broken way too easy. "They look like they're for someone special, don't they?"

She smiled, a bit shyly. "Yeah, I guess so. What was your name again? I'm Kairi."

When he mentioned the charms, she straightened. "Do they?" That peaked her interest, definitely. Her eyes light up, and she looks back down at the charms. "Well, my friend has one-- it's mine, actually, but he's taking care of it for me. His name's Sora-- Is that the one you saw?"

"Sora, huh? He that kid with the really spiky hair that runs around here all the time? Big shoes, bigger grin? Cause yeah, I've run into him once or twice. So that must be where I saw it." He nodded, still on his best behaviour. Tricking people by being nice wasn't that hard at all.

"The name is--" No, he shouldn't tell her. The X'd give it away too much if this girl was already familiar with the organization. Especially if Sora had been telling on him. But this name neither she nor that kid should be familiar with. "-- Braig. Nice to meet you, Kairi."
