R.I.P. Kauri
Today Kim and I woke to find out that the worst possible case had come true. Our friend who seemed to have disappeared to gather her thoughts earlier this week was in fact found dead yesterday. Kauri Tiyme was the girl that Peter, a member of Darker Days Tomorrow, has been living with and we had been working closely to promote both the band and her tattoo business for the past several months. Some of knew her, but most of you didn't. All I can say is that she was an amazing person. I miss her already, and I'm left able to do little more than comfort several terribly distraught friends and band members, and ask what next.
It's going to be a long and hard week ahead. They are still investigating and it seems it could be suicide, but nobody is sure. Nobody who knew Kauri could ever picture a person who was trying to do so much being that willing to throw it all away. I would really like answers right now, and none are forthcoming. That's the most painful thing about this.
