Contra Dancing this Friday
A couple of friends and I are planning to go dancing this Friday, July 11. They have a dance almost every Friday.
Never been to a contra dance before? Feel free to show up even if you know nothing about dancing. No need to dress up. Background information from the local group is at: http://contradance.org/html/what_is.php
Show up early for a beginner lesson at 7:30 if you have never been or want a quick refresher. The main dance starts at 8. The dancing is fun, is good exercise, and is perhaps the most wholesome activity I know where you get to touch so many strangers in a friendly way.

Additional suggestions from my own experience: you might want to bring a water bottle to save trips to the water fountain and it can be handy to have a spare shirt in case you get sweaty. Admission is $8.
