(no subject)
So, it looks like I'm going back to Montreal for the weekend. Fun, fun. And Ariana is getting her lip pierced (against the wishes of Brian). I hope hope hope that my landlord won't make me keep my lease for another year, and I also hope hope hope that this apartment I'm going to look at is as beautiful as I've been led to believe.
Mother was gone away to Quebec for 4 days and I thought that I would be productive since my sister would be at work and I'd be at home by myself. That was not the case, unless your idea of productivity is watching 'Firefly' obsessively (as soon as I watched the last episode I drove to the store to buy 'Serenity'... I can't wait to watch it!). Whatever, I had fun. I did read a book, though. And had a job interview (which went really well... I find out by Monday whether or not I get it). Oh yes, and I harassed the people at the Shambhala Sun Magazine some more since they didn't contact me for an interview and I want that job more than anything. I hope they don't think I'm too pushy.
I decided that this summer I am going to read all the writings of Thoreau. I love that kid. I think we could all learn a thing or two from him, such as what happens when you don't pay taxes. I'm also going to read Moby Dick if I'm feeling ambitious... but I said that last summer and it didn't happen.
Tomorrow in painting class we are going to be painting oranges and lemons. My teacher kept talking about how much fun lemons are to paint. I'll let you know after tomorrow whether or not this is true.
