Summary of my life since my last update:
-Did very badly on exams. Deferred one, to be written at the end of August.
-A lot of drinking with the family and friends back in Dartmouth. Tragedies bring familes closer together. They also result in a lot of drinking.
-Visit to Montreal. Not the same as it used to be.
-Still unemployed. Interview tomorrow at the Art Gallery of Nova Soctia (wish me luck!).
-Being back in Dartmouth is like being back in high school. I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
-Taking a painting class. Lots of fun, but intimidating.
-Finished first draft (last night) of a screenplay of Leonard Cohen's novel The Favourite Game. Hoping to film in the fall (although I know nothing about making movies).
-LIving situation for next year is all fucked up. No more living with Ariana, but if I can get out of the lease with my current landlord (who is a trickster) I will be moving down the street with some people I don't really know into their beautiful (so I've been told) apartment.
