Speaking of Colin, here's a short story:
A couple of weeks ago, Colin went into Payless with me while I went shoe shopping, because he's patient and kind and he loves me. I went looking for a specific seafoam mary jane flat that I had seen on the website, so we split up once we got inside. I found my shoes and was trying them on when he came up to me with the black version of the very same shoe and said something like, 'Ha ha, I just found these that I thought you'd like!'
That's how in synch we are.
