Yesterday I spent $85 and bought:
- A nice-looking jacket to wear with nice-looking outfits.
- A twin-sized heated blanket so I can stay warm and Colin can stay cool.
- Two sticks of deodorant.
- Hair spray for heat styling.
- Clear eyebrow gel to tame my bangs and flyaways.
- Two bottles of beverage for Friday night.
- Two bags of candy for Friday night.
- Four bags of mixed fruit for making smoothies.
- Three boxes of Gardenburgers.
- Three giant boxes of Aunt Jemima waffles.
- A carton of neopolitan ice cream.
- Two boxes of peach tarts.
- Post-it notecards for when I need more space to write small notes to myself at my desk.
Sometimes at Target, we get things in our food orders that we don't actually sell. So we stick them in the freezer because we're too lazy to deal with them and eventually it gets to be too late to send them back, so we just sell them. For, like 75 cents. Hence the stocking up of mixed fruit, Gardenburgers, waffles, ice cream, and peach tarts. I'm not even sure I like peach tarts.
Colin's in Australia and I miss him very much. More than I thought I might. But it seems I've gotten past the part where I cry when I think about how many days are left, so I think I'll be fine. I think it will be good.
I'm still in retail therapy mode, though, so if anyone wants to go shopping with me I'll probably be more fun than usual.
