If anyone has been wondering about where the hell have I been, this is where I've been in last few weeks - my old world of Super Hero Time. 8D
Except… this year's Sentai team is cheating, cheating, cheating!!! I would not accept that! Being able to change into the previous sentai members is absolutely cheating! Being Space pirate is cheating too!!!!!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDD
And here is my random intro about them and it's probably going to be more than you'll ever want to know. lol
Part I: Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger & a little bit about Abaranger.
2002 - Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger
(From left to right: Kouta "Hurricane Yellow", Nanami "Hurricane Blue", Yousuke "Hurricane Red", Ikkou"Kabuto Raiger", and Isshuu "Kuwaga Raiger". Nope, you won't see Shurikenger/Green's face in here, because he never shows his real face through out the series.)
The original of "Power Rangers Ninja Storm". The story begins with three pupils in the Hayate Way Ninja Academy, who are definitely not fitting in, but forced to become the legendary Hurricangers after the academy being suddenly wiped out by the evil force. These three are later joined by two other pupils (actually, two brothers) from the opposite Ikazuchi Way Ninja Academy and another mysterious green ninja, doing their best to stop the Earth from being corrupted by their enemy, Jakanja.
Overall this is a good series to watch, even the enemies are so dumb sometimes that you'll just have to love them.
Yousuke "Hurricane Red" - straightforward and full of passion, he is technically the leader and the idiot of the team (and is recognized by every teammate and their master), who actually points out the ultimate question of all Santai teams: "isn't the one who wears red and usually stands in the middle of the team is the leader?" when their master appoints Kouta to be the leader. Because he really doesn't think (or never finds the reason to do so), he is also known as one of the stupidest red rangers until Jan "GekiRed" in 2007. And, although the tradition of having (a) male ranger(s) cross dressed not started until 2003, people in the setup group still agreed that he really looks like a girl especially with a flower in his hands.
Nanami "Hurricane Blue" - I normally view her as the female version of Yousuke, equally passionate (in a girly way) and crazy in most of the scenes. She befriended with one of the enemy generals during one episode, only to be betrayed by the end of it and left heartbroken. Overall cheerful and not really thinking too far, she is a singer when not on missions, which she actually became quite famous in the GoGo Sentai Boukenger vs Super Sentai.
Kouta "Hurricane Yellow" - the real leader of the team, the man who doesn't lose his head most of the time, the babysitter of Red and Blue; being the guy who usually has to hold the two brainless teammates back, he is (both character and actor-wise) the nice guy of the team (even Isshuu's actor says so in one of the interviews) although snaps at the unbearable moments, usually involves with people around him (mostly Yousuke and Nanami). He is also so far, the only character whose family members (non-ninja related) ever appeared, including his sister and deceased grandmother.
Ikkou "Kabuto Raiger" - the elder one of the Kasumi siblings and the survivors of the Ikazuchi Way. He and Isshuu first appear as the enemy of Hurricangers before finally accepting and teaming up with them. Really sucks when comes to guessing riddles (apparently never done it before…). He and Yousuke have been in the funny friendly/rivalry/couple like relationship after a near-death experience and some how have the way to compete who almost dies the most… which Yousuke beats him with severity.
Isshuu "Kuwaga Raiger" - serious-nature just like his brother and sometimes over board, he doesn't really have a good sense of humor, which makes him a good one to laugh at even when the situation is not that funny. Living in the valley of Ikazuchi must be somewhere out of the normal world, because when trying to pick a cute little animal, he got a cow instead… XD
2003 - Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger
Very awesome ending. Nothing I can really say besides this is a good one to watch if you just want to see Blue (male) being kissed by a guy twice, in a female sailor's uniform, and almost in a wedding dress.
