I taught class again today. We started with some shadow boxing, then moved into some break falls and shrimping drills. Next we worked on the heavy bag for 2 rounds then the speed bag for one round.
We worked a bit on forms then went into some ground work. We worked on arm bar from the side mount and the escape for the defender. We went a bit long, but I think we made some good progress there.
I had us finish up with some Tabata drills. We did 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest eight times each of:
- pull ups
- sit ups
- push ups
- squats
- box jumps
I wrote down the totals for everyone, but left it in the car. I'll add on to this tonight or tomorrow with those totals so we can compare them next time we do this drill.
I may go to Tina's class tonight depending on how tired I feel.
