On Saturday, I went to see The Forbidden Kingdom before going gaming in the evening. It was a lot of fun - the most I've had watching a movie in a long time. Hopefully the new Indiana Jones flick will hold up. :)
Over the past month or so I've finally been playing through Okami. It's excellent, and the storyline is like having a whole series in one game. That's got good points and bad points. It was cool that the first and second major bosses felt like most games end bosses, but now that I'm in the final stretch I'm beginning to feel worn out. I just want to finish the game off to move on. Of course, that won't stop me from playing through it again with my game completion upgrades someday in the semi-far future. :D
I'm trying to start to look for a summer job. It's rough when you're in the middle of working a current job, though. I haven't had a single day in over a month where I haven't been working at least a half day (and those are usually afternoons). The last thing my brain wants to do when I get home is job search stuff, and then other than posting applications to places I find, I can't do much at the moment anyway. I'd like to try to find some regular summer work in VA to make the full-time school job search easier for interviewing. I'd like to call the Smithsonian and Library of Congress to see if they have any summer-only jobs (their web job postings aren't very applicable), but the hours are while I'm at work. :(
Ah well... This week and next week are the last full weeks of school here. Then there are two half-weeks, but apparently teachers don't take any of those days off unless they're REALLY sick, so after next week I'll probably have just about all of my days open. :P
