Portland
After all the appointments were said and done yesterday, it was great to meet up with my friend Liz and take off for our Thelma and Louise trip (with a much happier ending). We visited the lovely and peaceful Chinese Gardens right in the center of Portland, where I took a ton of pictures, some displayed below for your viewing pleasure.
Then we ran off to the amazing and impressive Powell's Books. That's right - we came, we shopped, I signed stock. Made my whole day that they had about ten copies of Vamped, already faced! Today we hit the animal park (I'd be more specific about the name, but my friend, whose body is on West Coast time, since she lives here, is still asleep and I don't want to wake her by rummaging for the brochure).
