It was one week ago when I was still considered a bachelor

Meh, nothing to it. Ok who am I kidding, for the first time in my life I actually understood what stress was really about. It's a Trillion things going on in your head, with a trillion people trying to get in touch with you with, and all you wanna do is go play golf. Which I did, 2 days in a row, 2 days before my wedding. And that's me (LJ Icon), looking smug at the reception thinking back the only thing left to do is not to screw up the first dance. I just want to say thank you to all the friends and family who have come out to join us in celebration.

The day was near perfect, but that's because only I and a select few who knew what the schedule and plan was can see the problems... and my mother complaining how the photographer isn't taking pictures of the family. Well, that's because the family is late, and no fault of their own too, Grandma is 90 years old and walking from church to park was a very long adventure for that 0.02km travel... which also knocked the wind out of her, which she took an afternoon nap equivalent to a most people's sleep, which also made her late for the reception. But hey, she's 90, that's forgivable.

The day was fun, seems like some had more fun than others, and some was more emotional then others. You know who you all are. And I crushed some bets. And everybody thought it was an open bar :P
For all who are getting married. Ontario has a new law, which consists of the corking fee restaurants are allowed to charge when you bring your own alcohol.

Here's the deal. Get a no sale license from the LCBO, ask how much the venue will charge for corking fee (per table or per bottle), mine was per table. I worked out that with all the wine and beer that I purchased from the LCBO + the license + the corking fee, I was still saving approximately $500 for the same quantity, and approx $2000 for open bar by the venue. The best thing is, for any unopen wine or beer, I can return back to the LCBO for refund, and I can return all the bottles for refund. I still have about 6 bottles of red (because the venue misplaced a box and later found again), 6 bottles of white, and case and a half of beer left. Which I will keep, since family loved the wine so much, and I'll just keep the beer for guests when they visit. Only people that found out it wasn't an open bar are those who tried to order hard liquor.

The other aspect of the evening was the photographer setup a booth for anyone who wanted portraits without the bride and groom. These pictures are seperate from the main package which if you took a picture with them, you can view them at www.alstudio.ca, but the pictures are not up yet. If you like the pictures, you can order that picture through the photographer for about $3-4.

For you viewing pleasure, I have compiled a bunch of Foto's from different guests and uploaded them onto my flickr account, which unfortunately is only viewable by friends and family with accounts, since gally and I don't like to post out pictures all over the web.
