My Spontaneous Update's
So life since God knows the last time I posted has been "good", can't complain too much.
Mistakes have been made, lessons have been learned on the work front. It's quite invigorating that I have to push myself hard to make a dollar in this highly fierce, competitive, cut-throat,dog-eat-dog business even though all the indicators show a, if not excellent but still very rosie market. My business is different from corporate politics where it is a dare to see how much ass-kissing one can do to your superiors in order to move up the corporate ladder. Because the success of my business is the network of clients I build through referrals, and as we all know comsumer loyalty is fading more and more in this high-tech information age. Service is what you want to promote, but so is the other 50 million who are in business. Clients want excellent service, however, they also want excellent products for as little as possible, there is no value in clients mind, it's the best possible deal so you can get and brag to your friends.
Persuasion is a very powerful tool, a goal I must quickly learn more to develop a strategy for client commitement and retention. Afterall, I am competing against the corporate giants and every other Jane and John Little. So a challenge has been placed in front of me. I offer the same thing everyone else offers, I have the exact same product and sometimes the corporate competition can offer better products then I do, incentives are the same, programs are the same, and I'm young and new. So what do I got.
My response, I'm an all rounded Nice Guy :)
Btw... the Bank of Canada overnight rate raised again another quarter percent.
The wedding front is coming along... slowly... but surely. If you haven't seent he wedding LJ, gally99 posts in pebblerock often, so you can follow along.
I will be ordering the tuxes soon, with the nice coupon that is offered every year at ALL the wedding shows from Moores. I shall be in white. I will look like I just came out of the showers all day from the mid-august heat. Our next biggest crunch, is creating our monogram which is taking forever (what she likes I don't like, what I like she doesn't like). And the invitations that need to go out soon.
Lately, I've been going to the gym much more often then before, it could be the new found motivation, that A) the other location, altough further in distance (I have to take the 404 and 401 to get there) has underground parking which is nice in the rain and colder weather B) there aren't as many kids around and "most" people are there to work out as oppose to waste time socializing C) I have some new friends that is helping me push harder. Which results in insane workouts and soreness which screems for massage attention for the next couple days. However, I believe the results are slowly showing.
Allz I gotta say is Leg days are BRUTAL, and Power Abs are INSANE !!!
I've also been eating a lot more for some reason, but I have to lose the 5-pack :P
