Doctor's are so..... so..... well..... human. I guess that's the best word to use for it. They come at a situation with such preconceived notions that you'd think they weren't ever trained in analytical thinking. Here's the situation:

When we first talked to the first doctor he said to come in and they'd look at us "just in case" but that we'd probably go home that night. Then Wendy's blood pressure was up, so he ordered tests, but when everything else looked good, he said that if the blood pressure came down we'd probably go home soon. He was all about the going home.

Then he went off duty and the second doctor came in. She started her conversation by saying that she was "riding the fence" about whether to induce or not, but was leaning towards inducing - that she wanted to induce, but was "just looking for a medical excuse to do it." At least she was straight up about it.

Anyway, so it looks like we're going to induce the birth. This isn't exactly the way I was hoping it would be, but I suppose life is like that. I'm going to be happy anyway. :)

I'll keep posting as things progress and change.
