I did something this week I have never done before. I gave up on a friend. They have been crushed by losing someone they loved very much. In the process, they have shut everyone out and have locked themselves away from the rest of the world. I said I would never give up on a friend, but they refuse all help and love that people can give them.
To me, they have died and I think they feel as if it for the better. We have all wished we could just take someone that we care about and "hug" all of the bad out of their lives. This cannot happen, but how do mourn for one who was/is so young and now they have given up all hope by basing it on how the feel in the now? No one person is worth ending your life and happiness over. Now they are gone drifting in the wind. Good night in forever sleep.
