[ At first, it’s unclear of what’s going on on-screen. There’s some muffled cursing in the background, and the communicator is shuffled around unceremoniously. Then there’s a rather loud “thump”, and finally the screen clears to reveal Netherlands’ unblinking stare. ]
I don’t suppose we have any bandages.
[ When he says this, it may become clear that he’s a bit worse for the wear. Above the normal crescent-shaped scar on his brow is a deep cut that is bleeding steadily down his face. He doesn’t seem entirely bothered by this, but he is wincing a bit. The communicator, in his hand, is shaking rather violently, making it hard to see exactly what’s going on or where he is. ]
…stupid fucker got away.
[ Whether by design or otherwise, the video pans out at this point, revealing Netherlands entirely. The cut on his forehead isn’t the only one; the entire right side of his body has been slashed pretty generously, though none of the cuts look deep enough to cut to bone. His left arm is hanging rather uselessly at his side, but its unclear of how injured it is under his thick coat. ]
Dammit, if I’d been at full strength-
[ At this point his shaking grip can no longer maintain a hold on the communicator; Netherlands drops it and the feed cuts out. ]
( Ok, so. Netherlands was picked for the event, and basically got into a brawl with unknown villain #34. His arm’s dislocated. The shaking grip is a lovely side effect of nicotine withdrawal. He’s heading back towards Marshall at the moment, so your character can conceivably meet him along the way or there, or just communicate it up as usual. )
