Not looking for sex schleyiiiNovember 20 2016, 09:01:17 UTC
If I get an IM from a guy I do automatically think they are after sex...or for me to dominate them. That is seldom an incorrect assumption on my part. I think it does tend to immediately put me in a defensive posture and sort of 'color' the rest of the conversation. Part of that is I'm not very interested in guys at all and part is I'm mostly submissive despite my rather large personality.
My experience with female avis is that yes a large portion of them are actually males. Again it does tend to color my reactions at first and I've no doubt it also colors other females reactions to unsolicited IMs.
However, I wonder if that is the best approach? I'm never going to IM someone I don't know in the hopes of having sex with them. I'm just not wired that way. I'm fairly firmly in the camp of Sapio or Demi sexual and I just don't connect that far that fast. So when I IM a stranger it really is just to chat and see where it goes. The question becomes, "should I preface every conversation with a new person that way?" It is a very good
