Ushering in new life
I don't post often, except for exceptional happenings, and this weekend has had a few (and not just the glorious weather).
Dave and Nicola married, and included me in the wedding party as an Usher. Things went more or less smoothly and much fun was had by all. We used my place as a base of operations for the morning, keeping the groom occupied and the rest fed, and putting Andrew and Rachel up for the weekend meant I got to catch up with them.
My brother and his wife popped by today to tell me that they are expecting their first child in December, so all being well I shall be an Uncle in time for Christmas! The scans are in a few weeks so we'll soon know if they're having a boy or a girl.
