I am officially done with school! YAY!!!
I think I aced my exams, but I might have to wait until I see the final grades before I start celebrating. Despite all my complaints, I did have a nice semester. Again, the final grades might make me reconsider that previous statement, but the Fantasy Lit class that I took was pretty awesome regardless if I did well or not.
Lately I haven't been able to figure out what to do with myself. It's really weird, if I'm not at work or school I mope around the house. I started doing archery in my yard to blow off some steam and it turns out I'm actually pretty good at it. Another thing I've started doing is writing a lot more often. Considering that I want to make a career out of writing, it really is a good idea that I do more of it. I just haven't had time this semester, but now that it's over with I can finally concentrate on other aspects of my life.
Something really freaky happened yesterday. I was just sitting in my living room by the window when a huge hawk swooped down and killed a mourning dove outside. I have never seen an animal really kill another one in person so I was stunned for a second. When I went outside there were feathers everywhere. I know hawks have to eat, but I still felt sad for the dove. See, this is why I'm not a vet like I originally planned, because anytime an animal is hurt it really makes me upset. Obviously being an animal doctor would make me a little uncomfortable to say the least. It was bad enough when I worked at the local animal shelter and saw all those poor animals without homes.
Anyway, my week has been kind of slow but I thought I'd update anyway to make sure you all know that I'm thinking of you! Have a great rest of the week, my lovelies!
