Plans for the 4th
I'll be over at J's tomorrow, enjoying air and wifi, playing cards and NOT being driven crazy by the neighbors reenacting the battle of Gettysburg up and down the street. I'm pretty sure her little cul-de-sac is quieter than *that*.
Made progress on the sinkful o' dishes while the cornbread was cooking. Still not completely emptied, but ever so much better than it has been. Best part: I found my hair color applicator bottle, which I was certain I'd tossed when I couldn't locate it in the bathroom. I was on the verge of returning the color to the store, but now....
I worked on dishes till I got dizzy from the heat, then said "Enough!" and went and soaked my head...it's gotten to the point of "Doesn't it get any colder than this?!", which isn't surprising, since I've been taking cold showers since APRIL this year.
Oh, and I should probably work on my talk for church next Sunday. Topic: Service dogs.
