Friday stuff
GK has sent me info regarding my 30th high school reunion, happening this July. However, as I told her, my memories of high school are not so joyous that I'm thrilled by the prospect of squandering two precious vacation days and paying $60+ dollars for the priviledge.
$60 is the cost of a ticket to the semi-formal dinner. I say $60+, because then there's the matter of something nice to wear, hair, shoes and other accessories. No, sorry, not interested.
She's also coming back down without les infants terrible...problem is, the dates are at the end of this month, and because of the way The Company allocates vacation days, I won't have any more until April. *sigh* But hopefully, it'll span at least one of my days off. She says she hasn't seen The Watchmen yet, and I expressed enthusiasm---so maybe we can see it together!
Haven't have much reaction to my Watchmen fic, which is disappointing, but it IS a cult fandom. I've been spoiled, playing in the bigger sandboxes of SPN and House.
Last night's SPN: Awesome, and thank God they didn't kill Bobby!
