Had a very strange dream...all the lawns on my street were replaced with astroturf. I thought the house next door had been torn down, because there were trucks driving past, but it turned out the back wall of my garage had been ripped open and they were going through there. Oh, a hole is the roof is definitely not good news. :(

No, it's not. I knew I had a hole in the soffet (vertical board on the side of the eaves), but I had someone take a look at it, and he called my attention to the fact that there's a hole in the roofline above it. It's over the eaves, not the house itself, but the trouble it, it's where the electricity comes into the house, so it's going to be an unholy pain in the ass to get fixed. Big bucks, I'm sure.
