Heroes

In addition to enjoying the Presidential address, I also had a perfectly lovely time watching Heroes. When I started watching, I adored Nathan and thought Peter Petrelli was a little snot. Long-time fondness for Adrian Pasdar, what can I say? But an interesting thing happened during the winter hiatus---I started watching Gilmour Girls. I'd successfully avoided it during its network run, but I found it lurking on ABC Family and stuck around for its pre-SPN Padalecki. Imagine my surprise when all of a sudden, along comes Milo Ventimiglia as a snarky juvenile delinquent. At some point, I couldn't help noticing he's built like a greyhound...lithe, with a little bitty waist...they had him wearing a henley, and homina! It looked good on him. Plus, of course, Nathan's changed sides and now he's being a compleat DICK.

And then there's Sylar. I've always had a thing for bad boys, and he's as bad as bad can be. Yum. (And I can't help it that I've got a fur!kink, and those brows of his make me wonder if his hair is that luxurient elsewhere.) Tonight had me writhing with squee, especially now that he's on the road with his own little delinquent. That's going to be SUCH a fun storyline! And I'm really looking forward to the new Star Trek movie for more ZQ.

I hope they haven't really killed Daphne, I hope Hiro gets his powers back, I hope Matt's tortoise is okay while they're gone...I don't give a damn about Claire, or whatername---I can't even remember Ali Larter's character's name---I like Christine Rose, and have for years, but I'd like to see Angela DO something instead of machinating behind the scenes.

Anyway, now I'm going to go watch Westminster.

squee, heroes
