Saturday domesticity and sloth

Today, I did laundry. Two loads. Such excitement! I know, having clean socks and underwear isn't monumental, or shouldn't be. Also threw in a few towels, my "granny" jeans, and the Lands' End sweater I inherited from Peter. Second load was whites. I have a full drawer of socks! Also a full drawer of undies--wait, that's TMI... Second load included my two white long-sleeved shirts and that fleece jacket Robyn gave me...*That* somehow acquired brownish stains on the left side of the collar and on the back. No idea what caused said stain. Exploded soda, maybe? I may end up painting or dyeing the jacket itself to disguise the remains of the stains.

Hung out on the couch and watched "The World is Not Enough" (Cheap VHS--really, pawnshops are *the* place to find stuff cheap!) while I reworked my other Fossil watch. It's very attractive, but came from eBay with a dead band, and I've turned it into a pin. I tried an incarnation as a pendant first, but I wasn't happy with the way it came out, so back to the drawing board.

In the way of progress, I started putting stuff into my newly acquired rolling cabinet. The bottom drawer is getting wire and ribbon and findings. I need to get containers to sort beads and rocks into. If I have the right containers, I may be able to fit most of my craft supplies in there. (Not sure about the buttons--I have a *lot* of buttons!)

The entertainment unit got more attention; I cleaned the TV screen with Windex AND I spritzed the doors on the top level and then adorned them with some paisley stickers because I'm tired of walking into clear glass when they're left open. (I try not to leave them open, but it happens....)

Clearly, I haven't been anywhere or done anything. S is still without her #$%&ing power cord...tomorrow. Honest.
