A Valentine from the Universe
As I shivered my way across the street this morning after parking my car, I checked out the architects' trash again, and I scored big time! A set of drawers on wheels. Not very large--about a foot square--with five drawers atop it, standing maybe 18" tall. The drawers are each about 3" deep, and I'm delighted by the prospect of using them to get my beads into some kind of order! They seem to be out of there, so no more goodies, but I'm very happy with my loot.
Stopped at one of the pawnshops on the way home on impulse, and got a pair of round-nose pliers and an almost-new hacksaw blade for $1. (The hacksaw blade is to make a couple of notches on one of the stone slabs I got on Sunday. I don't need to saw *through* it, just make a groove to settle some wire into.) Was good and did *not* snag any movies. I am set for a while, don't need more....
Life is good.
