Well, a lot of stuff has happened, so lemme fill you all in.
Mom and Ronnie are doing well in their couple's therapy, but they've decided to live separately until they can get everything worked out; I haven't seen him since he stormed out that night, and I'm okay with that.
I still haven't packed up anything else, seeing as I've been pestering Wes to get the apartment sparkling before I move in. Then again, I haven't helped him do it, so of course it won't get completely done -- he can't clean to save his life, but he's promised to get a maid so that I won't have to do it, which is very promising.
We didn't get the bonus at work, which I'm pissed about, and I'm out looking for another job. Until I get one squared away, I won't turn in my two weeks at BBY. It'll suck, because I probably won't see a lot of the people I work with unless I go in to visit, but I'll be sure to get some numbers and throw a party or something. I'll miss saying "Good Morning" and "Good Night" to my boys over at Geek Squad, picking on Keith for being "full of bubbles", and talking the day away with Patty, who always helps to make the day go by so much faster, smoother, and better; it's a joy to work with her, and I always look forward to it.
I had the whole weekend off this week, so I spent it with Wes. Friday, we just kinda hung out at the house and watched TV before heading to the outlet mall. He let me "dress" him, which included me taking him to the Gap and picking out a new pair of jeans and some nice shirts with COLOR in them (he wears nothing but black, still) and then going to T-Bonz for dinner. Yesterday, we woke up early and headed out to Butt-fuck Egypt (i.e. Harleyville) to hang out with Big Bro Chris and play paintball. I ended up playing a game and not getting hit, but the catch was that I had to wear Chris's clothes and old army boots since I had nothing to wear for outdoor gaming. I didn't hit anybody, though, but exchanged a good deal of volleys with Wes before calling a surrender because it was too hot. We ended up becoming the owners of Chris's cat, though...
When Wes and I walked in, there was a little weasel-looking black kitten mewling up at me and I instantly fell in love. I told Chris, when he came in, that by the time we left, he wouldn't have a cat. He told us that we could have him and even though Wes told me I couldn't get a kitty until I moved in (since I've always wanted one of my very own; Otis is Mom's, not mine), he relented and let me have him. Chris decided to go ahead and get him neutered so he won't spray up our apartment and I promised not to bring him home until he WAS neutered. His name is Nightmare, but I don't know if I want to keep that name -- I'd rather name him something different, but Wes doesn't like the name "Weasel Cat" or "Vincent Price"... Then again, it IS my cat, so if I want to name him "Weasel Cat" I will. HA!
After that, we went back home and rented some cheesy horror movies, ate snacks, and went to bed. Wes fell asleep long before I did, but only because I couldn't sleep; I was far too restless from such an exciting day.
Today, we were lazy and didn't roll out of bed for breakfast until around eleven before heading over to my house. From there, we watched anime all day while I finished making my bracelet for my new dress.
From there? Well... Here I am! ^_^
That's it for now, though. Laters!
