Wedding Stuff

Apr 12, 2007 09:27

ok, so I realized that wedding stuff is boring to everyone BUT the bride, and people ask politely because they know its what they should do, and I know they are just asking to be polite, and they don't REALLY care how many stores I had to go to before I found the perfect matching jewelery for my Bridesmaids, so i always remind myself to share a few things, so they don't feel like I'm trying to keep them out of the loop, but not SO much that they are bored out of their minds, eagerly searching for some polite way to get themselves out of the endless wedding banter conversation.
But keeping that delicate balance is much easier said than done. As soon as I start telling them the latest thing that I've gotten, or the next appointment I have, my brain just can't stop. I wonder if I really need ALL day just to buy the paper for the programs, or maybe I can head over to visit a florist as well, and about the programs, what wording should I use? I want to keep it simple, but no boring, and paper, oh paper! I should buy enough to put all the little love poems I want to print, on the tables. And WHOOOSH, the little wheels have started, and it is one heck of a job to stop them.

That's why I really haven't written too many details about the wedding...(at least I don't think I have...but maybe its another one of those things that I'm doing and don't even realize it!)

I only have 85 days left...can you believe it?!

I'm starting to get a LITTLE tinge of stress, because there is still a LOT to do, and I"m seeing the days just FLY by. But I know God will work everything out for good.

We still have to pick out our dancing songs (first dance, father-daughter dance, etc.) and make our programs, and get ribbon, and ask someone to build us an altar, and buy petals, and get our engagement picture blown up to put on an eisel, and get the guest book pen, and flowers, and lace and other material for the banquet hall, and wine for the dinner, and my bridesmaids shoes, and my own shoes, and veil and jewelery, and a million other things (see how I just get so carried away?!)

it's awful.
I'm really glad I have all this easter candy the keep me company!!
