summer acting as it should doesn't suck
These past few days have been great! The weather is finally (for the most part) sunny and warm instead of cloudy and rainy all day long. Friday I watched Twilight with my mom since she just finished the book. It's probably the 4th time I've seen it....it's just okay. I like it probably only because I read the book beforehand. Then at around 3ish or so I went to Elisa's in Howell to sleep over. She's going to Italy next week for almost a month so I decided I wanted to see her before she left. We were pretty bored for a while, but I have no problem with just sitting and doing nothing sometimes. We watched the first episode of True Blood from the new season and the first episode of The Office from the last season. Then we needed to go to Wawa and then to her cousin Tom's. Of course as we just make it to Wawa the crazy random thunder storm began and the lights went off for about a minute. Luckily they came back on and we were able to make it to Tom's in one piece. Thank God he lives pretty close or else that would've been horrible. I basically screamed or gasped at every bolt of lightening I saw. We just hung out at Tom's for the rest of the night and I passed out at like 11 or 12 on his couch cause I'm such an old lady lately.
The next day, I did a tiny bit of homework while Elisa was asleep and then we decided to go to the new Sonic that's opening up by her house. We thought that they were opening that day but it turned out that they're not open until June 30th. Sucks man...I've never had Sonic before. We just made our own lunch at her house instead. The next few hours were great....we tanned and swam in her pool and it truly felt like summer for once. At 4:30 I drove from south jersey to Suffern, NY to see my b/f Tom. He drove me to White Plains to hang out for the night. We ate at this nice place called Asian Sensation. I had major deja vu when I was there...I swear I've been there before but my mom told me I wasn't with her like I thought I might have been. Afterwards we realized we still had 2 hours to kill until we would see Transformers 2 at 10:30 (we already bought tickets). We asked the box office if we could exchange for the 9:30 showing but they were sold out. So we just hung out at the bar in the movie theater watching the Yankee game and drinking it up a bit haha! Finally, we saw the movie (which was okay) and I went back to his place for a couple more hours until I had to drive back home. Overall it was an awesome day and I loved every minute of it :)
Today I did my homework (I should be getting a B or B- in my other class...I calculated my grade today), ran errands, made strawberry daquiris, tanned in the backyard, made dinner, and later I'm going to watch Inkspell on demand. Laura watched it today and said it was really good. I read the book and I also love Brendan Fraser so it should be a good movie. It always sucks the day after seeing Tom, because all I want to do is see him again. It's getting to the point where it almost hurts to not see him cause I miss him so much. Guess I have to wait another 3 days. Damn this living in different states dilemma lol
