This yarn will require four spindles to complete, so I am a quarter of the way through. You might remember I started with
75 little bags of fleece. I have been working my way from #75 down, taking exactly half the fibre (2g) from each one as I go. Today I reached bag 38, so I am halfway through. Now I have gone back to 75 and started spinning my way through the 2g of fibre remaining in each bag. In this way I should achieve the same colour progression in each thread. Then when I ply the two together at the end, the colours will "speak to each other," as said our spinning companion, Suzanne in Haliburton. You can see how the colours on the second spindle look like
the first spindle did back on day 2 of the Tour de Fleece. Meanwhile, much fun has been had and I've learned and practised long draw.
