How fast has the summer flown by? Way too fast if you ask me. I have the whole next week off of work...my only real chance to enjoy the hot weather. However, I will probably end up sleeping until 2 in the afternoon and doing nothing eventful.
I have managed to graduate beauty school. No dropout here! :-)
I have a new job too. Beauty First in Northville. I am starting out as a beauty consultant and will be an esthetician come the middle of August. I just have to get through state boards first. Cross your fingers for me. I am actually quite happy about my current employed state, so no negative lemmings raining on my parade, ok? Thanks. I have been saying for so long how bad I want to start a career and now that I am at the threshold of it, I am quite nervous and a lil bit scared. Thats ok, confidence is key.
I have met a great guy...and had to say goodbye. Heartbreaking really because he's the first guy that I have met in so long who was normal. He's intelligent, funny, accomplished, sexy, easy-going and not to mention ridiculously attractive. He moved to Phoenix for a job and school. Ha, figures eh? They say good things come to those who wait. Well, I think I am in line for some amazing happenings. Here's to faith!
The friends are good too. Some hefty drama occuring, but when isn't there? It doesn't involve me and thats the way I like it. I'll sit by and watch.
