New Place, New Place, Just for YOU place!
So Jed and I found a place we absolutely ADORE!
It is AMAZING. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, brand new fucking EVERYTHING. We got it and we're in it and I'm writing to you from it NOW. =)
I am, after NINE MONTHS, FINALLY back on my own computer and I can't even TELL you how hard it is to look at this monitor after working on flat panels for so long. It's tiny and it actually hurts my eyes. Guess I'll have to start brining my glasses home from work now. My machine is kind of a piece of shit after using my work computer so long. Hah.
Anyway, back to our place. We found it on Sunday. Turned in our application on Sunday. Got a call back from the landlord saying we had it on SUNDAY. By Wednesday all of our stuff was in and we spent our first night here. Thursday we bought a new big kid bed and Friday night we slept on it for the first time. VERY nice having a bed big enough for both of our asses.
I made us our first dinner last night. Stir fry and rice. We had beers and ate with chopsticks and it was so nice to feel so happy. SO happy.
We got a new couch and a great big squashy chair. We got a dining room table and chairs. Our little house is coming together and I couldn't be happier.
As soon as we get it all put together, I'll take lots of pictures and post them for all to see.
I've missed you guys!
