Tonight
OMG!!! Tonight was one of the best nights I've honestly had in a long time. It was completely sober and soooo much fun.
First, we went to the Pepper concert in front of the Tower on the lawn, and oh my goodness, they are amazing. I got to hang out with the swimmers, and some of them are actually awesome to hang out with. Bryn and I were in love with the lead guitarist and decided to get as close as possible to him because well, he is gorgeous. Byrn was drunk, which made it even better because I absolutely love her when she's drunk. We spent about a half hour right in front of one of the speakers, and then finally were able to make it to the front of the mosh pit...it was so much fun. They are awesome. Enough said.
Then, after that, and the whole fiasco with my roommate that followed, Becky and I met up on the lawn, came back to the house, changed, and headed to the Beach for country swing night. OMG. That was the most fun I've ever had. I love dancing, not a huge fan of country music, but can tolerate it. Becky and I went, and I thought, great, I'm spending the last 5 dollars I have to my name on a country swing night, and no one is going to ask me to dance because I've never done it before. Man oh man, I was completely wrong. When we first got there close to 10, there were some people there, but by 10:30 it was packed, and it was packed when I was leaving. It was awesome though because everytime I turned around I was asked to dance, which was sooo nice but I have a huge headache from all the spinning haha. It was amazing though, I learned how to do a line dance, re-learned another one, and I feel pretty confident about country swing dancing now after have done it for two hours straight. It was awesome too because the guys come up and hold their hand out and ask if you'd like to dance, you say yes, and then they spin you right away. I don't see how people do it drunk, but man they do. Haha. It was also nice because they dip you at the end and say thank you. Every guy I danced with came back for another dance, and I think that's good...hard to say because I've never done it before. But it's cool, because Becky and I are going again next Thursday, despite the fact it won't be busy because WSU is gone and UI has finals...and most people will be gone by then...it will be awesome
