(no subject)
Last night went to the Beach for the first time, that was ummm...disgusting, the place is nice but the reason the girls and I went was bad...haha...then ended up at some guys apartment- it was full of rednecks. All of them were playing with knives and drinking PBR and there was this one guy who I played darts with...showed him a couple of techniques that I've picked up in the last month thanks to the guys back home, and then there was a wooden penis on the table, and everyone had to sign their favorite part...that was interesting. There were also guns everywhere, the kitchen was sick, and they were chewing...but it was by far one of the best nights I've had in a while.
Today the team went down to Riggins for a 20 mile raft trip and it was the best raft trip I've ever been on. 4 rapids were absolutely huge and could easily engulf our rafts, but we were pretty much awesome and made it out alive. Leia and Andrea lost their kayak during the 2nd large rapid (and keep in mind there were many rapids...but only 4 class 4's) and then Sarah fell out on the last class 4, and someone fell out again...Kayc rode bull after the first 10 miles, and fell back into the boat during the Time Zone rapid (third class four) but thankfully, no one fell out of our raft. Kayc fell backwards, so it doesn't count.
I'm burned so bad it isn't funny. I'm running a temp of 102 and I have blisters...on top of the pneumonia and it's complications...oh well, can't complain because for the first 8 miles it was gorgeous and then after that we were able to put fleeces and water proof jackets on...with the wetsuits we already had. The water temperature was low 40's...that makes for a cold day, espically when the sun hides during the last 12 miles...hahaha
All in all, it's been a great day, and now I'm off to Kayc's for another girl's night. Her and I haven't hung out together in a long time, and I'm really excited...I'm thinking I may also go to tin canner, but that depends on how badly I want to get cut up by all the cans they cut down, and how much I want to go dancing tonight...
