Thanks to our lovely firends scotia_girl and davedujour we have more Primary and Secondary fermenters now. In an effort not to waste any time filling them, I signed up for the Ale Kit of the Month club at Midwest. And as mle292 mentioned, we also picked up another Mead and a Lager. Grand Cru bottling is complete. I fell behind early trying to get the "Grolsch" style ceramic caps on the 16oz bottles, but caught up when I figured that out. All of the bottling gear is now cleaned and rinsed ( Read more... )

The Grand Cru is in the Primary fermenter. In about a week I should be able to put it in the Secondary and get the mead going. I'll need a new secondary fermenter for the mead - a slightly smaller one - the 5 gallon. I also want to get a beer thief to make it easier to get samples for hydrometer readings.
